- Actually, the Sonic does have a new and different DSP than the ones in
- SupraFAXModem 288's. Ontop of the added throughput it provides it has voice
- functions that are always DSP specific. The fact that it has voice and the
- SFM does not would immediately indicate that the DSP is at least different.
- The Sonic is also our first modem to support 230kbps port speeds. 33.6 is not
- currently supported by the Sonic as you suspect.
